Kyndryl pledged to help airlines fully employ data and modernise operations through an agentic AI-equipped industry cloud product designed with a holistic approach at its heart.
The Aviation Industry Cloud Solution launched today (7 October) to provide airlines with a Google Cloud-based system covering data access and insights Kyndryl stated would help streamline operations.
Kyndryl explained the set-up is designed to also be used by travel agencies, tourism bodies and cruise line operators seeking a boost for their customer propositions.
The cloud product connects core business systems spanning finance, human resources, reservations and retail elements, features Kyndryl stated would enable businesses using it to reap broad efficiency benefits.

Azi Handley, VP of Global Strategic Alliances at Kyndryl, said the product would “enable airlines to deliver personalised experiences to travellers and enhance flight operations”.
The company explained the cloud service advances a strategy of employing hyperscale companies’ “products, services and related data to create personalised digital offerings” for the aviation industry.
It also pitched its Agentic AI Framework as enabling airlines to ready services spanning travel, business discovery and fresh customer-facing digital experiences for launches in the future.
