PARTNER FEATURE: Huawei executive director of the board David Wang opened the company’s eKit Autumn Launch 2025 in Shanghai in September under the theme Together for Growth, All Intelligence, with the launch of new one-stop scenario-based offerings designed to provide last-mile services for SMEs looking for intelligent transformation.
Wang explained: “Intelligence should be as easily accessible as water and electricity. I hope every person, home and organization, can benefit from AI. Huawei is ready to help SMEs tackle these challenges and ‘go intelligent’ faster. No one will be left behind in the intelligent world.”
While AI is starting to be applied broadly across businesses worldwide, current applications tend to focus on intelligent assistants for employees. Future use-cases, however, are forecast to require deep integration with core in-house production systems. Huawei believes this process will have a profound impact on product, service, business and operations models, making AI a major engine of growth for enterprises.
SMEs play a significant role in the overall economy. China alone has more than 58 million, which create more than 80 per cent of the country’s urban jobs and generate 60 per cent of national GDP. Despite the increased adoption of AI around the world, SMEs generally struggle to use the technology because of low AI awareness and a lack of technical capabilities, making the bar for AI adoption too high for most SMEs.
eKit suite launch
Wang also released the company’s suite of new eKit 4+10+N SME Intelligence solutions. The 4 refers to four major scenarios covering most business operations: intelligent office, intelligent business, intelligent education and intelligent healthcare.
The 10 covers one-stop, scenario-based solutions, which include SME office, intelligent hotel, digital diagnosis platform and intelligent interactive classroom solutions, while the N refers to a series of “star products” tailored to the different scenarios.
eKit is a Huawei sub-brand and digital ecosystem focused on providing intelligent ICT products and scenario-based solutions for SMEs. The range includes Wi-Fi access points, AI firewalls and smart IdeaHubs, integrated with digital platforms and services like the eKit App, to simplify network deployment, management and overall digital transformation for businesses.
At the event, held a day before Huawei Connect 2025, the company launched a total of 26 products as part of its N series of enterprise solutions, including the eKit Engine AR180 series ultra-high-speed routers, which integrate a number of functions, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi and VPN.
Its New IdeaHub products combine AI conferencing, acoustic baffle and AI applications, and feature an all-in-one design, intelligent interactions and comprehensive security.
Driving AI adoption
Wang emphasised: “We handle the complexity so customers and partners can focus on growing.” The eKit one-stop scenario-based solutions are an upgrade in terms of solution development, sales enablement and delivery services, he noted, adding by using “these solutions to power our partners, we bring the benefits of AI to SMEs”.
The new releases all have significantly more advanced AI technologies than previous releases, with the features pre-integrated and pre-validated, which makes delivery more flexible and allows installers to easily bundle products to meet the specific needs of different scenarios, Huawei stated.
The company explained it is providing additional sales enablement for its distribution partners, including faster access to related resources, solution demonstrations and scenario-based configuration plans to simplify product selection and solution design for both installers and customers.
For delivery services, Huawei said it supports unified installation, centralised network management and consolidated customer support, allowing clients to quickly adopt AI, while ensuring worry-free delivery for installers.
Wang closed his talk by saying the new suite will power the last mile of the intelligent world for SMEs. “We are more than welcome to stand strong with distribution partners and installers to pool resources and fully empower SMEs to go intelligent.”
